Belenus: social commitment with Vinhedo
The purpose of Belenus social projects is to help dreams come true. Based on the same principles that guide the ideals of the group, the company has the commitment to improve life quality of people in the community where it operates, trying to give an opportunity to the socially challenged, who find a new motivation in the sports practice.
A proof of such fact is the pioneer initiative that was carried out in Vinhedo, by means of the AADC (Belenus Cultural Athletic Sports Association), created in January, 2004, by Mrs. Iracema Lucas, which offers soccer, athletics and beach volley practice and classes for kids 6 to 14 year-old, taught by specialized professionals, in their great majority in a voluntary manner.
In the next stages AADC hopes to expand the project, offering school support classes and English and computer classes. Visit our project! Classes will be given at the Athletics Center of the Neighborhood of São Matheus, located at Rua São Felipe, 700 – Vinhedo/SP.
